JAMMU, June 6: Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu, witnessed the grand inauguration of Natrang's highly anticipated event for children, the Summer Theatre Camp-2023. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Padmashri Balwant Thakur, the Director of Natrang, accompanied by esteemed senior artists Sumeet Sharma, Vikrant Sharma, and Gauri Thakur (Workshop Coordinator).
Natrang's Children Theatre Wing, established in 1990, has been organizing annual Summer Theatre Camps, Spring Theatre Workshops, and Winter Theatre Workshops, providing a platform for children to nurture their artistic talents. The summer vacations serve as an exclusive time for children to engage, explore, and enhance their personalities through the transformative power of theatre. Natrang has successfully shaped the personalities of numerous children by harnessing the potential of this captivating art form.
The participants of Natrang's Theatre Camp-2023 will embark on an enriching journey to create a full-length play, which will be showcased before larger audiences. This annual tradition allows the audience to witness a remarkable children's production, resulting from the summer theatre camp.
