Civil Defence prepares for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra

JAMMU, June 15: A meeting of Civil Defence wardens was conducted at the Civil Defence Control Room in Jammu to discuss the pre-arrangements and deployment of CD Wardens/Volunteers for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2023. Chaired by Dy. SP Dev Raj, In-charge Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, the meeting was attended by various wardens from the district. Attendees: Paramjit Kumar - Chief Warden CD, Jammu, R. Vijay Magpotra - Dy. Chief Warden CD, Jammu, Jagdish Kumar - Divisional Warden CD, Jammu, Sawarn Singh - Dy. Divisional Warden CD, Jammu, Vimal Pandita - Post Warden CD, Jammu, Amit Nayar - Post Warden CD, Jammu, Sat Paul Sharma - Post Warden CD, Jammu, S. Harcharan Singh - Post Warden CD, Jammu, Gurdeep Kour - Post Warden CD, Jammu, Vijay Singh Pathanya - Post Warden CD, Jammu. Additionally, several sector wardens were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Dy. Controller CD Jammu commended the efforts of Civil Defence Wardens/Volunteers for their selfless services to the public. She urged them to carry out their duties diligently and remain vigilant in their respective Civil Defence assistance camps, which will be established at various locations in Jammu during SANJY 2023. The CD wardens/volunteers were provided T-Shirts and Lowers with the Civil Defence logo, provided by the Directorate of HG/Civil Defence/SDRF J&K. The meeting concluded with Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden CD Jammu, expressing gratitude and presenting the vote of thanks.
