Youth National Conference urges LG Admin to expedite filling of vacant posts

JAMMU, June 15: Ajaz Jan, Provincial President of the Youth National Conference (YNC) in Jammu, has called upon the LG administration of Jammu and Kashmir to accelerate the process of filling vacant positions across all government departments.
During a meeting held at Sher I Kashmir Bhavan in Jammu, Jan emphasized the pressing need to address this issue. The discussion focused on various concerns and opportunities related to the youth.
Jan expressed deep concern over the rising drug activities in the state and stressed the importance of proactive engagement from the younger generation in combating drug abuse through effective de-addiction programs. He encouraged youth to actively participate and take the lead in initiatives aimed at eradicating drug abuse from society.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to congratulate Umesh Talashi, the newly appointed Additional Spokesperson of Kashmir, on his recent assignment. Jan and his team extended their warm wishes and support to Talashi in his new role.
Prominent members present at the meeting included Gorav Kapoor, Senior Vice President of Jammu Province, Zamir Quershi, Provincial Secretary of Jammu YNC, Tejinder Singh, District President of Jammu Urban, as well as Nitish Goswami, Jatin Bhat, Sumita Bhan, and others. The meeting witnessed active participation from these dedicated individuals, who collectively discussed strategies and initiatives for the betterment of the youth and the overall development of the state.
Ajaz Jan stressed the urgency of addressing the issue of vacant government positions, emphasizing their significance for the effective functioning of various departments. He called upon the LG administration to prioritize a fast-track recruitment process to ensure timely appointments of qualified candidates.
