Crackdown on terror closes shops of separatists in Kashmir
7/2/2023 10:59:53 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 2: Crackdown on terrorist supporters and anti-nationals in Kashmir has led to separatists and their henchmen winding up their shops.
A prominent activist, who has been at the forefront of dismantling the symbols of separatism in Kashmir, while talking to Early Times said, “As of date no office of any separatist organization is functional in Kashmir. Signs of separatism have been erased.”
He said, “The coordinated efforts to dismantle the symbols of separatism have dealt a severe blow to the Pakistani agents, who burnt the Valley for 30-long years.”
“The dismantling of offices and structures associated with separatist organizations has not only disrupted their propaganda machinery but has also crippled their ability to carry out activities aimed at fomenting unrest and undermining the integrity of the nation,” the activist added.
It’s in place to mention here that besides dismantling the physical infrastructure of the terrorist supporters the investigating agencies have also focused on curbing financial networks that provided sustenance to these elements. “By cutting off the funding channels, the authorities have struck at the very heart of the separatists, making it increasingly difficult for them to operate,” said an observer.
He said, “The impact of these actions is evident in the improved security situation and the return of normalcy in the region. With separatist offices rendered non-functional, the common people of Kashmir have been able to heave a sigh of relief, free from the constant threat of violence and unrest that characterized the separatist era. This has paved the way for the restoration of peace and the pursuit of developmental initiatives that aim to uplift the lives of the people in the region.”
An analyst said, “Situation has improved but the guard cannot be lowered. It is essential to remain vigilant and understand that the eradication of separatist elements does not mean that the challenge has been completely overcome. Pakistan has not given up. It’s still trying to disrupt life In Kashmir by trying to push in the terrorists and sending weapons through drones.”
