Alarming revelation
7/5/2023 11:09:00 PM

Recent intelligence reports have shed light on a concerning development, with credible inputs suggesting that Jammu, Reasi, and Poonch districts are on the radar of terror groups.
According to the media reports terror bosses sitting across the Line of Control are deploying highly trained terrorists to carry out hit-and-run terror attacks in these areas.
This alarming revelation demands heightened vigilance from both security forces and citizens alike to ensure the safety and security of the region.
The deployment of highly trained terrorists signifies an increased level of sophistication and poses a greater challenge to law enforcement agencies. The aim of these hit-and-run attacks is to create panic, instill fear, and disrupt the peace and stability of the region.
Jammu, Reasi, and Poonch districts have been identified as potential targets due to their strategic location and vulnerabilities.
In light of the inputs it is imperative for security forces to be adequately prepared and equipped to counter any potential threat. This includes enhanced intelligence sharing, efficient coordination among different agencies, and the deployment of specialized forces trained in combating highly trained terrorists.
The security forces must also maintain a high state of readiness, conducting regular drills and simulations to test their response capabilities and ensure that they can effectively neutralize any threats.
The involvement and cooperation of the local community are essential in combating terrorism. Citizens must remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities or individuals to the authorities.
Public awareness campaigns should be conducted to educate residents about the signs of potential terrorist activities and the importance of reporting them.
Communities should also be encouraged to establish and strengthen community policing initiatives, fostering a sense of unity and resilience against external threats.
The media reports claim that the government has got to know that the deadly attacks on civilians and the Indian Army that took place in Rajouri and Poonch districts this year were part of the same design.
The highly trained terrorists attack their target and run away before reinforcements arrive. Such hit and run operations are aimed at creating atmosphere of insecurity.
Despite losing the 30-year long proxy war, Pakistan has not given up. It’s desperate to keep the conflict alive. However, India has changed under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and if Pakistan refuses to mend its ways, Indian Army can cross the LoC and hit the targets within their dens.
