| DLSA hosts Induction training session for new Legal Aid lawyers | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, July 8: To provide an overview of the role of Legal Aid Lawyers and also the code of ethics which the Legal Aid Lawyers are required to adhere to, District Legal Services Authority Samba today organized a one day interactive cum Induction training session for newcomers in the rank of Legal Aid Lawyers and officers of Legal Aid Defense Counsel System, District Legal Services Authority Samba here in the Conference Hall, District Court Complex Samba.
The Induction training session was held on the directions of Yesh Paul Kotwal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Samba (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Samba) and Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Samba.
This interactive cum induction training session was presided over by the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge Samba) who sensitized the participants as to what exactly are their duties and responsibilities. He also stressed upon how the credibility of justice delivery can be enhanced and nurtured at the grassroots level through the Legal Aid Counsels.
He also discussed how the poor and disadvantaged sections of the society can be provided with the basic legal services through them. The objective of organizing this interactive cum Induction training session was to develop the professional skills of the legal aid lawyers and to enhance their knowledge and ability to discharge their duties as Legal Aid Lawyers and officers of the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System to the needy persons through the DLSA Samba.
This interactive cum Induction training session was attended by Ms. Nisha Rani, Deputy Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Versha Anthal, Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel and all the legal aid lawyers empanelled with District Legal Ser |
