| 60 ampoules of psychotropic substance recovered by PP Pounichak Jammu | | |

Jammu, July 11: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 60 ampoules of psychotropic substance in the area under the jurisdiction of PP Pounichak.
A police team of PP Pounichak led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor assisted by SHO PS Domana Inspr Kunal Singh Jamwal and I/C PP Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria while on naka duty rounded up a suspected person later identified as Suraj kumar S/o Mangal dass R/o Dogra hall, Parade, Jammu.
During search, 60 ampoules of psychotropic substance i.e 30 ampoules of diazepam of 2Ml each and 30 ampoules of Phenargan of 2ml each were recovered from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered at PS Domana and accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
