NC, adversaries wash dirty linen in public

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 17: A war of words has heated up between the National Conference and its adversaries on the social media in Kashmir with both the groups washing dirty linen in public.
A young NC leader recently said that “Unfortunate on the part of government to deny Omar Sahib his security. Small time chaps, who have recently deserted party are roaming with contingents of personnel while a former CM is made to walk. Unfortunate.”
This triggered a war of words with one of the youth cadres who recently left the party targeting the NC.
“Interesting pic. Omar Abdullah—with his coterie — the disinterested mediocre dynasts. Not even one is a popular leader yet are empowered to interfere in our politics through the clout of JKNC. Do people really want to outsource the job of nation building to these brats? Let the people introspect,” said a politician from a rival group on the social media.
On this the NC leader reacted saying: “Look at these people. One has been tasked to speak against @JKNC_ 24/7 in lieu of few escorts and huge security detail. Other guy is an alleged intellectual who roams in the city currently with PSOs to threaten NC workers. A month ago he was a pampered kid. Disloyal people!”
While both the groups are showering abuses on each other, the NC leader tweeted: “What a complete lie! Can we know why is entire police Thana escorting you ? Who the hell are you? Are you CM? U are becoming Delhi’s new fav boy because you have crammed few english words like Junaid Mattu. Go do anything but don’t you dear work against NC. And I have more pics.”
The other group targeted the NC again. “Why does Omar Abdullah conveniently forget the suffering caused by his own party's actions during his & his party's tenure? JKNC invented - part curfews, arbitrary detentions, PSA, injustice, Suspension of Internet & phones etc. Now karma has come knocking as history repeats,” reacted a politician previously close to the NC.
Observers said such war of words would only heat up ahead of the Urban Local Body pools expected later this year.
