Jammu, July 19: A BJP leader is seriously thinking over Ghar-Wapsi in the NC.
Highly placed sources resignation of leader has opened a floodgate in BJP and many party leaders who are aspiring to contest the next assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir are thinking about exploring possibilities in other political parties.
A senior leader, who had joined the BJP couple of years ago, has opened a channel of communication with ex-party colleagues to ensure Ghar-Wapsi in the National Conference before the assembly elections.
“The over-ambitious political leader wants to contest the coming assembly elections but the chance of getting the BJP mandate is bleak so he has opened the channel of communications with some National Conference leaders”, a source said and added that he will join the National Conference only after getting assurance of ticket in the Assembly elections.
Sources said that the said over-ambitious leader, who had explored possibilities in different political parties, claimed himself as a hardcore nationalist so gained his clout in the BJP and to be in the good book of party leadership. |
