Langar committee honors police personnel and thanks authorities for support during Amarnath yatra

Jammu, July 31: The Langar Committee, headed by Kiran Watal, along with Sr. Vice President Anil Gupta, General Secretary Prem rma, Secretary Ashok Ji, Media Secretary Kamal Ganjoo, and others, extended heartfelt gratitude to the police personnel deputed by SSP Mohan Lal Kaith Ji and SDPO Ms. Albeena Malik for their commendable assistance during the Amarnath Yatra.
ADGP Mukesh Singh Ji and their team were also acknowledged for their well-mannered and decent handling of the Yatris.
The Langar Committee also expressed gratitude to Div.Com Ramesh Ji and DC Madam Ms. Avny Lawasa for providing space for the langar at TRC Railway Station, where the i Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS) was shifted from Saraswati Dham to the TRC counter.
Anil Gupta, Senior Vice President of SAYWS, emphasized that utmost attention was given to maintaining cleanliness at the langar, and packaged drinking water bottles were provided to the pilgrims.
He highlighted that pure Dogri food was served in the langar, which had been successfully running for 32 continuous days. The round-the-clock services provided by the administration and police personnel to the pilgrims were praised.
Approximately 3,000 to 4,000 pilgrims were served langar at the SAYWS venue on a daily basis. Anil Gupta appealed to the pilgrims to follow the guidelines issued by the administration and carry the message of peace and hospitality of Jammu people with them after the Yatra.
SAYWS’ remarkable dedication to serving the pilgrims exemplifies the spirit of communal harmony and the age-old tradition of hospitality in Jammu. The society’s selflessness and compassion embedded in the cultural fabric of the region. The dignitaries’ visit further reinforces the significance of SAYWS’ noble efforts, leaving a lasting impression on the pilgrims and strengthening the bond of camaraderie among all involved in the auspicious Amarnath Yatra.
