| GDC Khour organizes special programme 'Maati Ka Naman' | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 11: In a heartfelt tribute to the essence of national pride and unity, a special programme titled Maati Ka Naman was organised at Govt. Degree College Khour. The event brought together Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of the college, NSS volunteers and college students. About 50 students participated in this programme. Senior faculty members Prof. Seema Sudan, Prof. Tarsem lal, Prof. Anju Bala were also present in this event. Students along with faculty members & Principal of the college held National Flag on one hand and Maati on the other. The programme Maati Ka Naman aimed to foster a deep connection with the motherland, paying homage to the soil that binds the diverse threads of India together. Maati Ka Naman rekindled the flame of patriotism, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility towards the nation.Through events like Maati Ka Naman, the college aims to instil a sense of national pride among the students. The programme was organised by NSS PO Prof. Gurvinder Kour under the able guidanceof Dr T K Sharma, principal of the college. |
