RAJOURI, Aug 23: Rameshwar Singh Thakur, DDC Member Dhangri District Rajouri requested LG Sahab for an immediate and thorough investigation into alleged irregularities that have come in to my knowledge throgh General masses.
There are some points which shows that there are serious concerns like wrongdoing in e tendering process without any transparency and without any kind of accountability within the Public Works Department (PWD) Rajouri. Specifically points fingers at the Superintending Engineer (S.E), the Person been involved in all these activities that have raised serious concern of corruption it may be scam of multi crores that seems to be unfolding within his jurisdiction SE circle Rajouri .He was already in radar of corruption on when he was heading the office as XEN Nowshera.
There are some specific points of documents related to E-tenders that were released by the Superintending Engineer Circle Office in Rajouri. Which are earlier Mentioned by RAMESHWAR THAKUR E-NIT 13, E-NIT 16, and E-NIT 17 of 2023-2024. These documents hold proof of the alleged irregularties and corruption. These tenders are being opened by Personal Assistant of Superintending Engineer these should be investigated on priority. The same employee rejected other contractors by his own choice and accepted the tenders of those to whom he willing to give the tenders for his own benefits.
Rameshwar singh thakur demanded that a detailed investigation should take place And UT administration sholud constitute( SIT )Special investigation Team Headed by a Judicial Magistrate of Hon,ble High court of jammu or this case should be handed over to Vigilance or (ACB )Anti corruption Bureau .
He requested LG Sahab to kindly consitute the team at Divisional commissioner level to investigate the matter on priority DDC Dhangri Further added that investigation officer sholud not be from PWD Depptt. it may be from Pmgsy or other agency it may be headed by principal secratery of UT administration.
