Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 18: After years of relentless pursuit, Nagrota Police successfully apprehended Mohd Bashir, a fugitive involved in cases dating back to 2016. Bashir, son of Alif Din from Tung Gali Khanikote, Tehsil Arnas, District Reasi, had managed to elude authorities for seven years.
Mohd Bashir was a key figure in cases filed in 2016 under sections 188 RPC and 3/5 PC Act at Nagrota Police Station.
The arrest comes following the issuance of a warrant under Section 512 of the CrPC by the Hon'ble Court of Munsiff JMIC Jammu.
Bashir's evasion had persisted since the warrant was first issued, making his capture a significant accomplishment for law enforcement.
Today, Nagrota Police successfully brought Mohd Bashir into custody and promptly presented him before the Hon'ble Court.
After due legal proceedings, the court ordered his confinement in District Jail Amphalla.
The arrest of Bashir is expected to provide closure to cases FIR 43/2016 and 93/2016, offering relief to those affected by the incidents.
Authorities commend Nagrota Police for their unwavering dedication to pursuing justice and ensuring that individuals with legal obligations are held accountable.
The community expresses gratitude for the persistent efforts of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and security of residents.
The successful resolution of this case reaffirms the commitment of Nagrota Police to upholding the rule of law.
