Jammu, Nov 28: The Annual Inter-House Athletics Meet at PPS concluded today with an atmosphere of sportsmanship and achievement. Tarsem Chand, PCS, SDM, Nabha, and Davinder Kumar Attri, DSP, Sub-division, Nabha, presided over the event as chief guests during the first and second sessions, respectively.
Japkirat Singh Brar, Ekamjeet Singh, and Armanpreet Singh emerged as the Best Athletes from Sections A, B, and C (Boys), respectively. Arvinder Kaur and Pravleen Kaur secured the title of Best Athletes from Section-A (Girls), while Rehmat Kaur and Aashita Singh Thakur claimed the honors for Section-B (Girls).
The coveted Inter-House Athletics Trophies were awarded to Jumna and Sutlej House for Junior and Senior Girls, respectively. Beas House clinched the Inter-House Athletics Trophy for Junior Houses and continued its dominance by securing the trophies for Middle and Senior Houses for the sixth consecutive year. Beas House also claimed the Overall Athletics Championship Trophy for Boys. The March Past trophy was lifted by the Girls Squad. Expressing gratitude, Headmaster Dr. DC Sharma thanked the dignitaries for their gracious presence, marking the success of yet another memorable Athletics Meet at PPS. The event showcased not only athletic prowess but also the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the students. |
