DPS Jammu shines with second place in inter-DPS National Science & Commerce Festival

JAMMU, Nov 29: Delhi Public School Jammu proudly secured the second position at the prestigious Inter-DPS National Science & Commerce Festival, "Vigvanijya," hosted from November 22-24, 2023, at DPS Azad Nagar, Kanpur. The event, organized by The Delhi Public Society, New Delhi, brought together 136 students from 34 renowned DPS schools across India, showcasing their talents in both Science and Commerce.
The team from DPS Jammu showcased exceptional skills and talents across various events in the competition, contributing to their overall second-place achievement. The events included Scicomblitz (Quiz), Sixty Seconds Wonder (JAM), Techpreneur (Live Demo + B Plan), Jaago aur Jagao (Nukkad Natak), Scivogue (Fashion Show), Robomania (Robowar and Roborace), Fintoons (Financial Cartoons), and Imageastro (Astro Photography).
Judged on various parameters such as content, concept clarity, presentation skills, uniqueness, originality, theme relevance, spontaneity, and confidence, the team comprising Harshit Mengi (XII-E), Atharv Jaggi (XII-F), Aarush Gandotra (XI-A), and Parikansh Rakwal (XI-A) delivered outstanding performances, earning them admiration from judges and fellow participants.
The commendable achievement was made possible with the support and guidance of Ms. Jyoti Pallalia, along with the assistance of the student council members and dedicated teachers from the Art, Science, and Commerce departments.
Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson, extended her commendations and hearty congratulations to the students, their support team, Principal, and staff of DPS Jammu. The President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, Director S.S Sodhi, and Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra, also conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to the winners and their parents, expressing best wishes for their future endeavors. The remarkable achievement at "Vigvanijya" reflects the commitment to excellence at DPS Jammu.
