Employees, Employers Urged to Maximize Benefits of ESIC Schemes: Panday

Katra, Feb 9: In a collaborative effort between the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and the Hotel & Restaurant Association in Katra, a program was organized to highlight the importance of availing the full benefits of ESIC schemes. Dushyant Panday, Regional Director ESIC, emphasized the significance of both employees and employers actively participating in and benefiting from the ESIC schemes.
Panday underscored that the ESIC scheme stands as a unique support system for employees, providing benefits during employment, and even posthumously or in case of injuries.
Rakesh Wazir, President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association, echoed this sentiment, shedding light on the extensive benefits offered by ESIC, including access to top-tier medical facilities like Narayana Super Speciality Hospital.
Furthermore, Shyam Lal Kesar emphasized the importance of raising awareness about ESIC schemes to attract more participants voluntarily.
He stressed that educating both employees and employers about the scheme’s advantages is crucial for its success.
Dr. Gurjyot Kaur elaborated on the process of reimbursement for medical bills and treatments, emphasizing that ESIC enrollees can access healthcare services nationwide, regardless of their location. Dr. Saurav Sadhotra and Virender Kesar also shared insights during the event, further emphasizing the importance of ESIC schemes.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Palak Pandoh, while Kulbhushan Gupta, Branch Manager & Social Security Officer, ensured the seamless execution of the program.
This collaborative effort between ESIC and stakeholders aims to encourage greater participation in ESIC schemes, ensuring both employees and employers avail the full range of benefits provided.
