VIJAYPUR, Feb 20: In a spirited initiative to uphold the essence of democracy, the NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organized a vibrant selfie-taking campaign centered on the significance of voting rights. The event, held as part of the ongoing Voter Awareness Campaign, aimed at enlightening both the faculty and students about the pivotal role of voting in a democratic society.
The campaign, orchestrated under the adept guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta, Principal of GDC Vijaypur, garnered enthusiastic participation from the college community. Prof. Ritu Bhagat, the Coordinator of NSS, along with Prof. Poonam Kundan and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, played pivotal roles in coordinating the event seamlessly. Highlighting the importance of exercising the right to vote, the organizers emphasized that voting is not merely a privilege but a fundamental responsibility.
