Student brought laurel to institution

SAMBA, Apr 4: Narayan Partap Singh S/o Ashok Singh Bagal R/o Rahaya, Samba, Student of Semester 6th Department of Management brought laurels to the institution Dogra Degree College by Winning the Gold Medal in inter-university Kick boxing Competition held at Meerut, Uttar Pardesh. The competition was a national level Inter-University Kick Boxing Competition in which the participants from various states of the country participated and represented their respective institution and state. Naryayan Partap Singh student of BBA 6th Semester was selected from the college in category of Kick Boxing after participating and wining in the various matches organized by the college. His name was then proposed to the University of Jammu by the Dogra Degree College to be the participant in the Kick Boxing competitions organized by the University. After his great display of his talent in the Kick Boxing Matches organized by university, he was selected by the University Sports Committee to be the representative from university of Jammu in the Kick boxing Category. Being selected for the Kick Boxing from the University of Jammu his name was proposed for the Inter-University kick Boxing competition which was held at Meerut Uttar Pardesh. Showing his vibrant talent and skill in the kick Boxing he actively participated in the matches organized by Inter-University kick Boxing committee. Various team from different state of India participated in the event. Narayan Partap Singh beated up all the teams of other state in various matches of Kick Boxing and finally qualified for the Final Match. The final Match was played between the team of University of Jammu and the team from Kerala. As a result of his hard work, dedication and sincerity towards his game and he won the final match and was awarded with the Gold Medal in Kick Boxing.
Th. Gulchain Singh Charak ji Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust congratulated Naryan Partap singh for the wonderful display of his skill in the field of Kick Boxing at National level. Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust appreciated the spirit of Narayan Partap Singh, Principal Dogra Degree College and Gulshan Sharma, ANO/CTO,PTI for such a great Achievement which definitely ads to the glory of institution.
Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College congratulated Narayan Partap Singh for such great achievement and bringing laurels to the institution. She also motivated Narayan Partap Singh to participate in more such programmes and inspire other fellow mate to excel in the area of sports adding a feather in their cap and making the college also proud.
