GDC Ramnagar empowers students with SWAYAM/NPTEL orientation workshop

RAMNAGAR, Apr 10: In a significant stride towards enhancing digital learning opportunities, Govt. Degree College Ramnagar has concluded a fruitful 7-day orientation workshop on SWAYAM/NPTEL, igniting the spirit of continuous education among its student body. Facilitated by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and SWAYAM Cell of the college, the workshop unfolded from April 4th to April 10th, 2024, drawing the participation of over 200 eager students.
Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, Principal of the college, and the proficient guidance of Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandit as the convener, and Prof. Tanmeet Kour as the coordinator, the workshop aimed at acquainting participants with the wealth of resources available on SWAYAM/NPTEL platforms. Through interactive sessions meticulously designed to enhance understanding, students were immersed in a journey of exploration across diverse courses offered by SWAYAM/NPTEL.
The workshop's highlights encompassed an introductory dive into SWAYAM/NPTEL, elucidating its pivotal role within the educational landscape. Participants were enlightened about the expansive array of courses and specializations, shedding light on their relevance in career advancement. Hands-on sessions enabled students to navigate the platforms seamlessly, familiarizing themselves with course structures, modules, and assessment methodologies.
