| Theft case solved within 24 hours, stolen vehicle recovered: Reasi Police | | |

Reasi, Apr 14: Theft case FIR No. 105/2024 US 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Katra after getting complaint of theft, when unknown individuals stole vehicle JK14D 4658 white tavera from Katra.
A special team was constituted by SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma -IPS to recover the stolen vehicle which was led by Inspector Nishant Gupta SHO P/S Reasi under the supervision of SDPO Katra Sh. Surinder Singh Baloria.
During investigation several suspects were rounded up and after sustained questioning white tavera has been recovered from the forest area of Deva Mai Katra.
The swift action taken by Police Station Katra to recovering the stolen vehicle demonstrates their dedication to maintain law and order in the region and sending a stern message to those involved in criminal activities.
Mohita Sharma-IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi while sharing the details conveyed that further investigations to unearth his linkages with other theft cases of district Reasi is going on and more arrests and recoveries can’t be ruled out in the case. |
