KPS, Barnoti celebrated DOR-24

Jammu, June 3: Kartar Public School, Barnoti management and teaching faculity today celebrated DOR-24: Renaissance and Togetherness fiesta in the auditorium today. S Ranjit Singh and Mrs Rajit Kaur, Chief Pattern and Pattern, Kartar Public School, Barnoti were special invitees while Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, former Additional Secretary, J & K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the chief guest and Er Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman, Kartar Public School,Barnoti was guest of honour. Mrs Harpreet Kaur, Principal, KPS and Mrs Neeraj Thakur, Vice Principal, KPS, Barnoti were also present in the presidium.
Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, while speaking on the occasion, complemented the teaching faculty and management of Kartar Public School, Barnoti for organising DOR-24, a unique festival celebrating, sharing and analysing the year long service rendered in the institution as teachers and at the end of the session and before going to summer vocations. He also appreciated the teachers and other staff for actively participating and performing in such a way that this event became a memorable one. He emphasised that teacher as Gurus are the creators of the healthy society by nurturing the youth through academic education and other activities for the overall development of the students.
Earlier, while welcoming the august gathering, Mrs Harpreet Kaur, Principal, KPS, Barnoti informed that since last four years the management and teachers have taken an initiative to celebrate DOR-24 a fiesta with a mission to realise the sense of togetherness and also to exhaust the pressure of studies and arrangement of other concerned activities through out the year. Er Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman also applauded the role of teachers in particular, management and non teaching faculty in general for delivering their duties with full zeal, commitment and dedication and only because of their such deeds KPS, Barnoti has now grown up as a role model in the area. He thanked all the staff and present in this function for their cooperation and full support as a family. In this function teachers presented and performed music and dance items, entertainment events like musical chair, tambola and Dumb Charades which was well enjoyed and received by one and all. The teachers of various groups were also honoured by presenting mementos. Shub Lata, TGT, Hindi conducted the proceedings of the programme in a befitting manner while Mrs Neeraj Thakur, Vice Principal, KPS presented vote of thanks.
