JKEDI-Techible conclude Summer School Internship program

JAMMU, Aug 27: In a first of its kind, a Summer School Internship programme concluded here at Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). The internship program was held in collaboration with Techible, an IIT alumnus initiative.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Rajinder Kumar Sharma (JKAS), Director, JKEDI, Paramveer Nandal (CEO, Techible), Shubham Gaur (COO Techible), Rajesh Kotwal, District Nodal Officer, Jammu along with the interns, among whom participation certificates were distributed.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Kumar Sharma (JKAS), Director JKEDI urged the students to explore the vast opportunities that entrepreneurship offers in today's dynamic times. He also highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by JKEDI to support and nurture youth in turning their innovative ideas into the successful ventures. He emphasized on the skill development as an important part of the curriculum in schools and colleges for an evolving startup environment.
Techible's Summer School focused on equipping students with essential skills in high-demand tech domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, UI/UX Design, Full Stack Web Development, IoT, Drone Building, CAD Modelling and Additive Manufacturing. The program featured a hands-on approach to learning, ensuring that students not only grasp theoretical concepts but also gain practical experience in applying these technologies to real-world challenges. Over the course of the program, the students engaged in rigorous training sessions, benefiting from the guidance of industry experts and experienced mentors. The final presentations showcased the innovative projects and solutions developed by the students, reflecting their newfound skills and knowledge.
Speaking at the event, Paramveer Nandal, Founder of Techible, expressed his pride in the students' achievements and reaffirmed Techible's commitment to empowering the next generation entrepreneurs. "Our mission at Techible is to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs, preparing students to excel in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. This Summer School is a testament to the potential of our youth when provided with the right opportunities and mentorship," he said.
This summer internship program highlights JKEDI's commitment to the development of entrepreneurial culture in the U.T of J&K by promoting skill based initiatives.
