| NYKS organizes Swachhta Hi Seva cleanliness campaign in J&K, Ladakh | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 25: My Bharat an autonomous body under Department of Youth Affairs, MoYA&S is conducting Nation Wide Campaign Swachh Bharat Mission - Naya Sankalp with the theme of Swabhav Swachtta- Sanskar Swachtta in a mission mode with the spirit of Jan Bhagidhari se Jan andolan
As a befitting tribute to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi ji and celebration of 10th year of Swachh Bharat Mission, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, J&K and Ladakh UTs under MoYAS, Govt of India has organized Swachtta hi Sewa Cleanliness campaign with the theme of Swachh Bharat mission -Naya Sankalp across the 20 district in J&K UT and 2 districts in Ladakh UT in coordination with Youth Clubs/ Mahila Mandal, social activists, Education Department, Youth Service and Sports Deptt and volunteers registered on My Bharat Portal. The objectives of the programme is to Educate and generate Awareness on the significance of sanitation, hygiene and waste management and share best practices for maintaining cleanliness., to educate and generate awareness about the environmental and health impacts of single use plastics and to promote sustainable alternatives.
