PM Modi embarked on a hectic visit to US which lasted only around 53 hours. For this visit of 53 hours, he undertook travel of around 30 hours. During the visit, PM attended around 15 scheduled programmes and meetings. Within 3 hours of landing in US, PM kickstarted the first engagement with a bilateral meeting with the US President at Delaware.
This roller coaster tour witness several bilateral meetings. PM also participated in two international events - QUAD Leaders' Summit and UN’s Summit of the Future. PM also addressed the Summit of the Future.
On 22nd September alone, PM attended 6 different meetings besides addressing the Indian Diaspora. PM also interacted with and met different diaspora groups.
PM held around 7 bilateral meetings with world leaders and also met many leaders on the sidelines of the UN Summit of Future.
PM also participated in Tech CEOs Roundtable to discuss the future of partnership between India and US in the tech and innovation sector. He also held a meeting with the CEO of Holtec International, which specialises in design and manufacture of parts for nuclear reactors. PM participated in Cancer Moonshot event as well, an initiative to bring renewed leadership to the fight against cancer and facilitate new collaborations.
