JAMMU, Sept 25: A meeting of the Akhil Bhartiya Purv Sainik Seva Parishad was organised by Captain Paras Ram President, Jammu North in which a large number of Ex-servicemen and patriotic citizens were present.
Many distinguished Ex-servicemen from Roopnagar, Muthi ,Barnai ,Bantalab , Raipur, Purkhoo and Damana were present on the occasion.
The meeting began with two minutes of silence to pay homage to all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and a patriotic song by Capt Krishan Singh
During the meeting, Shri Sham Lal Sharma, the BJP candidate from Jammu North, passionately addressed the gathering of ex-servicemen, emphasizing the deep respect and gratitude the nation owes to its soldiers. He remarked, "Our soldiers are the true custodians of our nation's integrity, carrying forward the proud Dogra legacy of loyalty and patriotism. Their sacrifices in protecting our 'matribhumi' can never be repaid, and it is our duty as citizens to ensure that their legacy is honored and preserved." Sham Lal Sharma further stressed the critical role of ex-servicemen in shaping the nation's future, stating that their unwavering commitment to national security is a guiding light for the country. He assured the veterans that, if elected, he would advocate for policies that prioritize the dignity and honor of the armed forces, reinforcing the government's focus on national security and the well-being of those who have served. His speech resonated deeply with the attendees, reinforcing their belief in the BJP's commitment to the nation's defense and the values they hold dear.
Col Vidya Sagar (Retd) said that we are a non political organization but if safety and security of our motherland is threatened we will have to come forward and support a political party which talks of Patriotism and BJP is the only option.
Brigadier Balbir Singh Sambyal SM, President, Akhil Bhartiya Purv Sainik Seva Parishad, UT OF J&K said that for us our nation comes first and we will vote for such a candidate who believes in the philosophy of *NATION FIRST*
Speaking on the occasion, Col Sukhvir Mankotia (Retd) requested Sh Sham lal BJP Candidate from Jammu North that we Ex-servicemen have only on demand from you once the Govt is formed by the BJP is take decision in the National Interest and all the Ex-servicemen are with you. He further added that our first priority is Dignity and honour of our motherland for that we Ex-servicemen will ensure Government is formed by politicians loyal to our motherland and not by those who Questioned the Balakot and Uri strikes.
The meeting ended with the singing of the National Anthem by all.
