RAMBAN, Oct 9: In line with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, the District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban, organized an awareness camp today at the Block Development Office, Batote.
The purpose of the camp was to raise awareness about various schemes implemented by the Industries & Commerce Department and DIC Ramban to promote entrepreneurship among local youth.
The event began with a welcome address by Project Manager Kuldeep Singh, who welcomed the Chief Guest, Block Development Officer Batote, Kavita Bindhral, and the participants.
In his address, he emphasized the importance of the schemes aimed at encouraging the youth to become job creators rather than job seekers.
During the session, Functional Manager Sartaj Singh provided detailed information about the PMEGP. He sensitized the participants on the application process, benefits of enrolment with the DIC, and the financial assistance available for starting ventures in the manufacturing and service sectors.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Project Manager Kuldeep Singh, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, staff members, and the general public for their participation and support in making the event a success. |
