10/11/2024 10:12:33 PM
Early Times Report
PULWAMA, Oct 11: Prominent political leader Vivek Bali has called for urgent action to address the severe water shortage plaguing the Payer Pulwama area in South Kashmir. Residents have been grappling with intermittent water supply for several days, disrupting their daily routines and causing significant hardships.
In a statement issued here, Vivek Bali expressed deep concern over the ongoing water crisis in Payer Pulwama. He emphasized that local residents are struggling to meet their basic needs for drinking, sanitation, and hygiene due to the lack of access to clean water.
Vivek Bali appealed to the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor to prioritize the issue and take immediate steps to restore regular water supply to the affected areas. "The water shortage in Payer Pulwama is a serious concern that requires immediate attention," Bali stated. "Access to clean water is a fundamental right, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it is provided to all residents."
The administration is urged to conduct a thorough investigation into the causes of the water scarcity and implement effective measures to address the problem. Long-term solutions, such as improving water infrastructure and promoting conservation efforts, are also essential to prevent future crises.
