Jammu, Oct 21: On the directions of Directorate of HG, CD and SDRF J&K, 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme was started at Ram Lakhan Dass Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Burj Mandir, Marh under the supervision Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. This training is on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique. During these five days, students will also be aware about Disaster Management and risk reduction during natural or manmade disaster. On the inaugural programme of the training, lectures were delivered by the Civil Defence experts and highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training. Sh. Dalbir Singh, Principal of the School appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for imparting such training programme in their School. |
