New Delhi, Oct 21: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana expressed deep sorrow over the killing of seven innocent people in a terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Kashmir.
The attack targeted a camp housing laborers and staff working on a tunnel construction project in the Gagangir area.
In his statement, MP Khatana strongly condemned the incident, calling the killing of innocent civilians an act against Islam. “What the terrorists are doing on Indian soil is entirely un-Islamic. God will never be pleased by killing innocent people in the name of religion,” Khatana remarked.
He further assured that those responsible for this heinous act will face the full force of the law. “The terrorists behind this atrocity will not be spared and will face the harshest response from our security forces,” he said.
In this moment of deep sorrow, MP Khatana extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. “At this moment of immense grief, I extend my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” he said.
He praised the efforts of the security forces, assuring that the nation stands united against such acts of terror. “Our brave personnel are on the ground and will ensure that the terrorists pay a very heavy price for their actions.
The entire nation stands in solidarity with the bereaved families,” Khatana asserted.
