| Felicitation program held at GDC Udhampur | | |

UDHAMPUR, Oct 21: GDC Udhampur students brought laurels in various inter-college sports events (fencing and Table tennis men) held at University of Jammu w.e.f 15-10-2024. A felicitation ceremony was held at GDC Udhampur on 21-10-2024 in which Dr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, worthy Principal GDC Udhampur was the Chief Guest of the Occasion. He felicitated table tennis men overall champion team and fencing men runner up team with gold medals. The T.T. men winners were Mr. Sourav Sharma B.A. sem-III, Ayush Gupta B.A. sem-III, Madhav Sharma B.Sc. sem-I and Madhav Magotra B.Sc. sem-I. In fencing men, the winners were Manthan Mehra B. Com sem-V, Aryan kumar B.A. sem-I, Vishal Dev B.A. sem-1, Surya Dev B.A. sem-III. The winners were felicitated with medals and tracksuits. The overall championship T.T. men's trophy was handed over to worthy principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar by H.O.D sports Mr. Shashi kumar Sharma and Sourav Sharma (captain T.T. men). The Principal emphasized students to participate in different sports activities with true sportsmanship and disciplined manner. He also encouraged them to perform physical activity every day for the physical, mental and emotional development of health and at the same time to perform well in academics.
