Early Times Report

RAMBAN, Oct 22: The Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with the Department of School Education, has initiated a district-wide awareness campaign on Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes here under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.
Aimed at informing eligible students about available scholarships, the campaign began at Government High School, led by District Social Welfare Officer, Rahul Gupta.
The campaign seeks to ensure that students from all backgrounds are aware of financial assistance opportunities, promoting education and supporting the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. After the interactive session, students were imparted guidance about applying through the National Scholarship Portal. The awareness campaign garnered significant participation from students, teachers, and local officials.
The program emphasizes the importance of education and the financial assistance available to eligible students through these scholarships, helping to promote the goals of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative as well.
Speaking at the event, officials from the twin departments asked the students and their families to take full advantage of these schemes to ease their educational journey.
The campaign will continue to reach more schools and educational institutions across the district, ensuring that no eligible student is left behind in accessing these crucial benefits.
