Jammu, Oct 22: Two days after the heinous terror attack in the Gagangeer area of the Sonamarg region of Ganderbal district, security on all developmental projects across Jammu and Kashmir has been further strengthened to frustrate evil designs of Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
Highly placed sources said that the Minister of Home Affairs has directed the Jammu and Kashmir administration to review the security of all developmental projects where workers from different parts of the country have been engaged.
Over two dozen major developmental projects have been going on in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir to improve connectivity in the Union Territory.

Sources said that Sunday’s terror attack at the Gagangeer area in the Ganderbal district was part of the nefarious designs of Pakistan-sponsored terrorists to stall developmental activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Although sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have started an investigation of the Gagangeer terror attack, the Union Home Ministry has sought a detailed report from the Jammu and Kashmir administration about the reason for the Sunday incident.
