JAMMU, Nov 18: Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation successfully conducted Mission R-SAP (Remove Shyness Apply Pads) at Govt. High school Panjgrain & Kwara block of panjgrain village. The event aimed to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene practices among young girls on 14th Nov, 2024.
Stuti Abrol, the keynote speaker, led an informative session on proper hygiene practices, addressing common myths and encouraging open discussions to remove the stigma associated with menstruation. As part of the initiative, the NGO distributed 2,000 sanitary and aware 200+ females, about promoting accessibility to essential hygiene products.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehvish Sharma , the health incharge of the area said, "The event was a significant step towards improving menstrual health and education in the community, empowering girls with the knowledge and resources they need for better health and well-being."
As we known menstrual tabboo is the major evil in the society and it's our prime focus to remove this tabboo from society and let the female to live their life with dignity & our prime focus is to make a society where their is easy accessibility of sanitary to each and every female said Mr.Vivek Parihar (Director LFO-BHF)
The programme also saw the presence of notable members including Diya Sharma, Sachin, Shubam, Abhishek Gupta, Harsh, Abhishek Raina, and many more.
