DBU's Chamanpreet Kaur achieves ANO role in NCC Naval Unit at Naya Nangal

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Jan 20: In a moment of immense pride for Desh Bhagat University, Sub Lieutenant Ms. Chamanpreet Kaur, the Navy Wing Chief Training Officer (CTO) of the institution, has been appointed as the Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of the NCC Unit 1PB Naval Unit, Naya Nangal. This significant achievement comes following her exemplary performance during the rigorous 75-day Pre-Commissioned Regular Course (PRCN) at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gwalior.
Kaur's dedication and exceptional performance during the training program have earned her this prestigious role. She not only demonstrated outstanding discipline and skills but also actively participated in various competitive and educational activities. Notably, she secured a Silver Medal in Throwball Competitions and contributed to lectures on Intellectual Property (IP), Yoga sessions, the National Integration Awareness Program (NIAP), Firing Training, and numerous Naval Outdoor Activities. These experiences have honed her leadership, physical fitness, and tactical knowledge-qualities essential for her demanding role in the Indian Navy. Upon her return, Kaur was warmly congratulated by the leadership of Desh Bhagat University. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Advisor to the Chancellor Dr. Varinder Singh, Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, CTO Army Wing Dr. Ajaypal Singh, and CTO Air Wing Gurjeet Singh Pandher expressed their heartfelt congratulations. Dr. Zora Singh proudly stated, "This is a proud moment for Desh Bhagat University."
