Jammu, Jan 4: Police on Tuesday said that unknown persons fired upon three youth sitting in a car at Mandaal here. However, no one was injured in the shootout.
A police official said, “Around 6:15 pm five unknown persons came in a grey Alto car (without number plate) and fired 2/3 rounds on Arun Choudhary S/o Janak Raj R/o Phallian Mandaal,Sachin Choudhary S/o Ashok Kumar R/o village Parladpur Phallian Mandaal and Manmohan S/o Subash R/o Phalian Mandaal while they were sitting at field near Panchayat Ghar Manda. Due to the firing they got afraid and ran away. Moreover, unknown persons also damaged their vehicles i.e Wagon-R (No. JK02AK-5755) and Scorpio (No. JK02DL- 9921).”
Station House Officer Satwari, Jaipal Singh while talking to Early Times said, “Our team is on the spot and investigations are on. Manhunt has been launched to trace the attackers.” |
