Kashmir scripting new chapter of transformation under Modi regime: Kavinder
2/4/2025 11:17:46 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 4: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta emphasized the need for dedicated efforts in spreading awareness about the pro-people policies of the Modi Government and ensuring their effective implementation on the ground.
Interacting with party workers from Kashmir Valley at the BJP Headquarters in Jammu, the BJP stalwart highlighted the unprecedented development that Kashmir has witnessed since the abrogation of Article 370. He stated that the historic decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2019, has paved the way for a new era of peace, progress, and prosperity in the Valley. “For decades, the region was kept deprived of its rightful development due to appeasement politics. Today, under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, Kashmir is scripting a new chapter of transformation,” he asserted. Listing the achievements post-Article 370 abrogation, Kavinder pointed out significant improvements in infrastructure, tourism, employment generation, and investment opportunities. He said that projects worth thousands of crores, including highways, tunnels, and railway connectivity, are reshaping the region. “Kashmir is now witnessing real development with world-class institutions, better healthcare, and improved law and order. The return of normalcy has boosted the confidence of investors and tourists alike,” he added. Kavinder also lauded the BJP workers from Kashmir for their unwavering commitment to the party’s ideology despite challenges. He urged them to continue working at the grassroots level, ensuring that every citizen benefits from central schemes such as PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and PM Ujjwala Yojana. “The BJP is committed to inclusive governance, and it is our collective responsibility to take Modi ji’s vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ to every doorstep,” he said.
The meeting concluded with party workers reiterating their resolve to strengthen BJP in Kashmir and counter the propaganda of opposition parties.
Kavinder assured them of full support from the party leadership in their mission to build a stronger and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir
