DIG JSK Range holds high-level meeting on Crime Control in Jammu

JAMMU, Feb 5: Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of JSK(Jammu-Samba-Kathua) Range presided over high level for crime control and Action Plan against Criminals and Gangsters at DPL Jammu. The meeting was attended by SSP Jammu Joginder SinghJKPS,SP North, SP South, SP HQ, SPRural , SP Operations and all Dysps SDPO s, DySP DSB., DySP ,(DAR) of Jammu. During the meeting various Intelligence agegave their overview about these criminals Gangsters and their mode of activities , hiw these criminalshet financial support, weopon, vehicles, shelters and mode of their communication.
The DIG JSK Range, in his review, stressed the need for special efforts to take stern action against gangsters/drug peddlers/thieves/vehicle lifters and other antisocial elements and also directed them to maintain the proper lists of such offenders so that a proper surveillance can be maintained over their activities. He also directed to break their Network of financial circle, seize their properties which are accumulated by them through illegal trade, including Extortion, Land grabbing, Property dealing etc. Support system of these criminals be kept under monitoring and book them under law including their relatives/friends who support and provided shelter to them.
Zero tlerance against gangsters criminals and elements who is trying to disturb the peaceful environment of Jammu.
Strict instructions were given to the officers regarding the recent incidents of theft, Firing. Robbery in Jammu . Addressing the issue of drugs, the DIG urged officers to adopt a mission-oriented approach to eliminate the menace. He called for intensified efforts to identify and dismantle the networks involved in the illicit drug trade. The DIG JSK Range underscored the importance of vigilance on suspicious persons to thwart the designs of anti-national elements and maintain a peaceful environment.
No more glorification of criminal gangsters activities by any social media platform. Officers were directed to take legal action on those who are glorifying Gangsters and Criminals through Social media or through TV , Portal Interviews.
Moreover Media Fraternity also requested to expose the networks of These Gangsters and Criminals who are spoiling our youth.
Family members and Parents of these nominated Criminals and Gangsters are warned not to harbour them, they will also face Legal action of Police.
The DIG JSK Range expressed unwavering commitment to justice and urged officers to ensure cases are resolved on their merits. The meeting also discussed various initiatives, including Operation Cleanup (For Gangsters), Operation Sanjeevani (NDPS CONTROL), Operation Pathshala, Operation Kamdhenu, Operation Avtar, Operation Third Eye, Operation Meghdoot. He stressed to follow the guidelines issued by RPHQ Jammu pertaining to all the operations launched in JSK Range to achieve the maximum successful results.
Moreover, all the officers were directed to strengthen all the nakas in their jurisdiction and identify the locations where more nakas to be established. It was also discussed that proper liaison be maintained with all the intelligence agencies (Army/Para Military forces and other Central agencies) in their respective jurisdiction.
Instructions were given by DIG JSK Range to all the officers to keep active surveillance over the activities of OGWs, History Sheeters and Trouble creators. Officers of Police Component were also directed by DIG JSK Range to activate all the SOG QRTs to deal with any kind of exigency.
In the meeting DIG JSK Range also directed all the officers to launch a massive drive in their jurisdiction through their subordinates against the vehicles on following illegal modifications (Vehicles found with tinted glasses, vehicles found with illegal modification for any criminal look, Vehicle found using loud music and Vehicle without number plate.) He also directed to take strict legal action against anyone found possessing illegal weapons, Land Grabbers.
The meeting concluded with the directions to become more Public Friendly and ensure strong action against Gangsters/Criminals/Drug Paddlers/Thieves so that Peaceful environment in all sections of society be ensured.
Through this meeting it was conveyed to General Public and Citizens of Jammu that JK Police is committed to your safety and security. All kinds of efforts has been made to ensure Peaceful atmosphere of Jammu. Rumour Mongers and Fake news Spreading elements will taken to task. Let's All society members , Media Fraternity , NGOs, Volunteers, ExPolice man , Join Hand to eradicate these criminals/ Gangesters Germs from our Jammu.
