NEW DELHI, Feb 18: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched its innovative "One Man Office" (OMO) service, designed to digitally empower its sales force and offer seamless services to policyholders 24/7. The OMO, launched on 17th February 2025, aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of LIC's agents, Development Officers, Senior Business Associates, Chief Life Insurance Advisors, and other stakeholders by providing them with a comprehensive digital ecosystem.
Shri. Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO & MD of LIC, emphasized that the OMO service will be a vital tool for LIC's sales force, enabling them to promote life insurance and serve customers anytime, anywhere. "This initiative aligns with our vision of 'Insurance for All by 2047' and is a significant step towards empowering our agents and ensuring better services for our policyholders," he said.
The OMO service is integrated with the ANANDA (Atma Nirbhar Agents New Business Digital Application) platform, offering a wide range of features that enable agents to perform digital sales, track business, and manage after-sales servicing. Key features include premium calculators, e-NACH registration, online loan requests, policy renewals, claim submissions, and much more. Additionally, agents will have access to a knowledge center and various calculators to assist customers with their insurance and health-related queries.
By making these services available on mobile devices, the One Man Office is set to be a one-stop digital solution for LIC's sales force, empowering them to operate independently and provide enhanced service to customers.
LIC plans to continuously improve the platform by adding new features to meet the evolving needs of agents and customers, thus making the digital office truly "Atma Nirbhar" in every sense.
