MCM Celebrates Dr. Punam Suri’s Birth Anniversary with ‘Shubhkamna Diwas’

Chandigarh, Mar 26: Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, celebrated the 77th birth anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. Punam Suri, President, DAV Managing Committee, with ‘Shubhkamna Diwas’ under the aegis of the Arya Samaj Committee.
The event began with a plantation drive, where 25 saplings were planted as a tribute to Dr. Suri’s visionary leadership. This was followed by competitions, including Poster Making, Shloka Writing, Vedic Rangoli, and Bhajan Recital, which saw enthusiastic participation from students.
Officiating Principal Ms. Suman Mahajan congratulated the DAV fraternity, expressing gratitude for Dr. Suri’s leadership, which continues to elevate DAV institutions. She extended heartfelt wishes for his long life and good health.
