Symposium on ‘Role of Youth in Viksit Bharat’ organized

Ramnagar, Mar 27: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar successfully organized a symposium on the theme “Role of Youth in Viksit Bharat” under the patronage of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal GDC Ramnagar, and the guidance of Prof. Ritika Mahajan, NSS Program Officer. The event highlighted the crucial role of young minds in shaping a developed India.
The symposium saw active participation from 10 students, who presented insightful perspectives on the responsibilities and contributions of youth towards nation-building.
The event commenced with a keynote address by Principal Dr. Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, who emphasized the transformative potential of youth in driving social, economic, and cultural progress.
Prof. Sumita Rao, Prof. Manmohan Singh, and Dr. Piyush Kant Sharma served as jury members, evaluating the participants’ presentations. The winners were felicitated with mementos and certificates in recognition of their exceptional insights and dedication. Preeti Devi secured the first prize, Preeti Sharma won the second prize, and Arpit Bandral received the third prize for their outstanding presentations. All participants received certificates of participation along with refreshments.
Active NSS volunteers Arpit Bandral and Payal efficiently managed the stage proceedings, ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. Prof. Ritika Mahajan, NSS Program Officer, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the participants, jury members, and organizing team for their efforts in making the symposium a success.
The event served as a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions and reinforced the importance of youth empowerment in achieving the vision of a developed and prosperous India.
