Association of Industries Gangyal Urges Immediate Repair of Dilapidated Link Roads
3/27/2025 11:02:31 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 27: The Association of Industries (Regd.), Gangyal has raised serious concerns over the deteriorating condition of link roads leading to the Industrial Area, Gangyal, and the continued neglect by the Chief Engineer, R&B Department, despite multiple requests over the past three months.
The affected roads include routes from Trikuta Nagar Canal to Industrial Area Gangyal, Preet Nagar SSB to Industrial Area Gangyal, and Model Town to Industrial Area Gangyal. The poor condition of these roads poses significant risks to commuters and industrial transport, creating safety hazards and operational challenges.
Sh. Virendra Jain, President of the Association of Industries, Gangyal, has urged Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Surinder Choudhary and Commissioner/Secretary, PWD, to take immediate action and ensure the necessary repairs are carried out at the earliest.
The association has warned that if the issue remains unaddressed, it may lead to serious accidents, loss of lives, and disruptions in industrial operations, adversely impacting the region’s economy.
They reiterated their demand for urgent intervention to prevent further damage and ensure safe and efficient connectivity to the industrial hub.
