| Suspected terrorists spotted in Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 3: Security forces have launched a search operation after two suspected individuals were spotted in the chord Panjia area of tehsil Majalta in Udhampur District , which is adjacent to a dense forest. Their presence has been confirmed, and efforts are underway to track them down.
DIG Rayees Ahmed Bhat of the Udhampur-Reasi range informed the media that security forces and J&K police had already been stationed in the area as part of an ongoing operation in support of the Kathua security mission. The region has been under surveillance for the past eight days, ensuring tight security coverage.
Given the strategic deployment of forces and the continuous monitoring of the area, authorities are hopeful that the suspects will soon be cornered. The operation is being conducted with utmost caution to prevent any untoward incidents. Security forces remain on high alert to neutralize any potential threats in the region. |
