Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 25: Tulsi Gabbard, US Director of National Intelligence, expressed solidarity with India after a devastating terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killed 26 people.
Gabbard, in a post on X, described the incident as a "horrific Islamist terrorist attack." “We stand in solidarity with India in the wake of the horrific Islamist terrorist attack, targeting and killing 26 Hindus in Pahalgam. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with those who lost a loved one, PM Narendra Modi, and with all the people of India. We are with you and support you as you hunt down those responsible for this heinous attack,” said Gabbard.
The White House echoed Gabbard’s sentiments. During a Thursday press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce conveyed President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s strong condemnation of the attack. "The United States stands firmly with India and denounces all acts of terrorism," Bruce said. "We pray for those lost, wish for the recovery of the injured, and demand justice for this heinous act."
US Vice President JD Vance, who was visiting India during the attack, also offered condolences. "Usha and I are deeply saddened by the terrorist attack in Pahalgam," Vance posted on X. "Having witnessed India’s beauty and warmth firsthand, our hearts are with its people as they grieve this tragedy."
