RAJOURI, May 7: In a significant outreach effort aimed at strengthening ties with local residents, the Indian Army's Peda Army Camp organized an Amity Meet and assistance program at Peda Gali in the upper reaches of Rajouri district. The initiative was specifically designed to connect with communities that have temporarily migrated to dhoks (seasonal highland pastures) with the onset of summer.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from villagers and provided a vital platform for dialogue, cooperation, and support. A major focus of the meet was delivering medical aid to the remote population, where access to basic healthcare is often limited.
