Mathura, May 11: One of the Seven ancient temples (Sapt Devalaya ) of Vrindavan Shri Radha Raman temple will hold special prayers of peace for humanity and the Indian army on its Prakatyotsav (manifestation festival) on May 12, Dinesh Chandra Goswami Sevayat Radha Raman Temple said.
“Nowhere you will see Devotees blessings the god,” he said. Radha Raman temple follows a unique tradition where Sevayats bless Thakur Radha Raman ji, “Mai tero chirjeeve Gopal, -(long live the child) and ward off evil eyes,” Goswami added.
“Vatsalya Bhav is prime in the birthplace of lord Krishna,” he said.
He told that one can have blessings from Govind Dev temple, Gopinath Temple, and Madan Mohan temple, the three of the seven ancient temples of Vrindavan by only having darshans at Radha Raman ji. “The idol has the Face of Govind Dev ji, the Heart of Gopinath ji, and the feet of Madan Mohan ji, “he added.
He said Swami Gopal Bhatt, who used to do shringar seva (make-up) at the other three ancient temples of Vrindavan, has a deep urge to see all three incarnations of the Lord in one statue.
His wish comes true on Baishakh Poornima (full moon night) when he finds the idol of Radha Raman ji in the wooden Box, he used to keep his Shalegram( incarnation of Lord Vishnu),” Dinesh Chandra Goswami added.
“Swami Gopal Bhatt was a follower of Chaitnya Mahaprabhu and came to Vrindavan from Srirangam on his instructions,” During his Nepal visit on Mahaprabhu’s wish, he got God Shalegram ( Lord Vishnu’s incarnation) in his hand, While taking a dip in Gandaki river he added. He said Panchamrit Abhishek of Thakur Radha Raman ji is done in the morning. Badhai Geets(songs) are sung. Radha Raman ji sits in Golden Singhasan ( throne) in the Morning. Gur (Jaggery) and Til (Sesame seeds) are offered to God first, a tradition followed by Swami Gopal Bhatt.
