Jammu, May 11: The NCC cadets of GGM Science College organized an insightful online seminar aimed at educating cadets about their duties and responsibilities during times of war. The session, held under the guidance of Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College, and Lt. Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma, the NCC Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of the college, focused on preparing the cadets for their potential roles in wartime scenarios.
The seminar’s highlight was a detailed lecture delivered by SUO Yuvraj Singh Parihar, who elaborated on the significant contributions NCC cadets can make during wartime, including roles in logistics support, first aid, communication, and civil defense. His lecture emphasized the importance of every cadet’s preparedness to serve the nation in challenging times.
Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta addressed the cadets with an inspiring message, underscoring the values of leadership, discipline, and national service. He spoke about the crucial role of youth in nation-building, urging cadets to always stand united and uphold integrity in all situations.
Lt. Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma also shared motivational words with the cadets, encouraging them to remain courageous, disciplined, and committed, especially when faced with adversity.
The seminar aimed to instill a deep sense of readiness, patriotism, and discipline among the cadets, ensuring they are prepared to contribute meaningfully to national security and service whenever required.
