Jammu and Kashmir Chemists, Druggists Association holds general house meeting | | | early times report
Jammu, May 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Chemists and Druggists Association (JKCDA), the apex body representing chemists and druggists across the Union Territory, convened a general house meeting today involving district Presidents and General Secretaries. The meeting witnessed robust participation from Jammu province, represented by seven district Presidents, General Secretaries, and 27 tehsil Presidents and General Secretaries. During the marathon deliberations, members discussed critical trade matters and reviewed commitments made by the President of the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) in the previous meeting held on May 24, 2024. A unanimous decision was reached to dissolve the existing body and establish a new ad-hoc committee to efficiently manage the day-to-day activities across the state and specifically for Jammu province. The newly formed ad-hoc body for Jammu province comprises: • Mr. Ramesh Mongha — President • Mr. Naveen Bali — Vice President • Mr. Sanjay Sharma — Organising Secretary This committee has been authorized by all members to nominate and fill the remaining positions of the JKCDA for Jammu province in accordance with the association’s constitution. The formation of the new body is expected to streamline operations and strengthen the representation of chemists and druggists in the region.
