JAMMU, June 2: Following the transfer of IAS officer Yetindra M Maralkar, the UT Administration of Ladakh has assigned Sonam Chosjor, JKAS, the temporary charge of Chief Electoral Officer, Ladakh.
Currently serving as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Chosjor will handle the responsibilities of the Chief Electoral Officer in addition to his present duties until further orders.
The decision, dated May 30, 2025, was made in line with instructions from the Election Commission of India and the Ministry of Home Affairs. |
