Mechanical Engineering students of DBU developed "Multi-Utility Power Generating Kit"

MANDI GOBINDGARH, July 7: The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, proudly announces the remarkable achievements of its final-year B.Tech students, who have showcased exceptional innovation and practical application of their academic learning through cutting-edge technical projects.
Under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Arashdeep Singh and Dr. Bandhai Lonia, two groups of final-year students have developed innovative, research-based projects that align with contemporary needs and sustainable development goals.
The first group, comprising Vivek, Surjeet, and Chanderkant, has successfully developed a project titled "Multi-Utility Power Generating Kit," which harnesses renewable energy to generate power for multiple applications. This project emphasizes green energy solutions and reflects the students' commitment to environmental sustainability.
The second group, including KM Manisha, Akash Sharma, and Mohit Dhakrey, has created an advanced prototype of a Hybrid Car, integrating both electric and fuel-based systems to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. Their innovation reflects a deep understanding of automotive engineering and clean mobility solutions.
The project work was highly appreciated and encouraged by Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur, and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, who congratulated the students and faculty for their dedication and outstanding contributions to applied engineering. The university leadership also extended their blessings for the students' future endeavors.
Notably, all students involved in these projects have been placed in reputed companies with excellent salary packages, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.
