Jammu, July 7: A first of its kind, two-day shoulder rehabilitation workshop was conducted on 5th and 6th of July 2025 by Bangalore Shoulder Institute in Jammu [organised by Dr. Abhinav Gupta (senior physiotherapist) in collaboration with Health Foundation Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation clinic, Bakshinagar, Jammu].
Due to increasing shoulder related health issues, advanced shoulder treatments are a must to get early relief from the ailments in addition to prevailing conservative treatments and medicines. A two-day SHOULDER REHABILITATION WORKSHOP was conducted on 5th & 6th July 2025 by Bangalore Shoulder Institute in Jammu and was organised by Dr. Abhinav Gupta (Senior Physiotherapist) in collaboration with Health Foundation Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation clinic, Bakshinagar, Jammu.
The resource person for this Workshop was Dr. Sumit Gupta, Senior Physiotherapist and Head, Physiotherapy Department, Bangalore Shoulder Institute who is a well-known Physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical excellence in Sports Physiotherapy, shoulder rehabilitation, spine care, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and performance rehab.
The workshop was commenced by felicitating Dr. Sumit Gupta with a memento of gratitude by Dr. Gaurav Vaid (Senior Physiotherapist) and Dr. Abhinav Gupta (Senior Physiotherapist), both from Jammu. Many renowned Physiotherapists from Jammu were present to attend the workshop namely Dr Navdeep Gupta (PT), Dr Anoop Sharma (PT), Dr Kulbhushan Sharma (PT), Dr Mahima Jamwal (PT), Dr Sukhveer Kour (PT), Dr Parshotam Lal (PT), Dr Aseem Gupta, Dr Rachita Gupta (PT), Dr Vijay Kumar (PT), Dr Sham Sahil Jandial (PT), Dr Poonam Rokri (PT), Dr Rishita Mahajan (PT), Dr Monika Handoo (PT), Dr Neha Thakur (PT), Dr Surbhi Pawar (PT), Dr Srishty Mahajan (PT), Dr Ankush Sharma (PT), Dr Bindiya Katal (PT) and Dr Akanksha Pawar(PT).
The complete workshop was informative, engaging and these advanced practices would surely be beneficial in curing extremities in shoulder patients of J&K. |
